There are 11 bat species in Ohio and the list shows how many counties each bat species has been confirmed according to the 2010 study by the USFWS.

Indiana Bat - 18

Big Brown Bat - 62

There are no confirmed sightings of the Eastern Small-footed Bat and Rafinesque;s Big-eared Bat. This leaves nine true species of bats in Ohio. Of the 88 counties, there are none with all nine species. The counties with the most species are Adams, Belmont, Hocking and Pickaway Counties with eight species followed by Lawrence, Medina and Summit Counties with seven species
